Pitch N Hire + Google Meet Integration

Yes. Pitch N Hire attaches Google Meet links to interview events, so a remote interview goes out with its joining link already on the invite. Meet is part of the Google Meet/Calendar connection in Settings β†’ Integrations, which also connects Gmail for candidate email and syncs Google Calendar for scheduling.

For teams on Google Workspace, one authorization covers the mailbox, the schedule and the meeting room. This page covers what the Google Meet/Calendar card actually connects, why the scheduling half matters more than it looks, and how to revoke access cleanly.

How does Pitch N Hire use Google Meet?

As the joining link on an interview event. When you create an event in the Interview Calendar you attach a Google Meet link alongside the title, date, time and attendees, so the interview carries its own way in. The tip worth following is to add it at creation: both recruiter and candidate then receive the link automatically with the invite.

What does the Google Meet/Calendar card connect?

It is a single Google connection rather than three. Connecting it lets you send candidate email from Gmail inside Pitch N Hire and syncs Google Calendar so interviews are scheduled in one place. You click Connect, confirm in the dialog, and authorize with your Google account; on return the card shows Connected along with your Gmail address.

Why does connecting the calendar matter for scheduling?

Because that connection is what powers interview scheduling and event invites in the first place. Without it the Interview Calendar has nothing to sync against, so events do not reach your real diary and invites do not go out as expected. Teams sometimes treat the connection as an email convenience and are then surprised that scheduling behaves oddly β€” the calendar half is the load-bearing part.

How do you add a Meet link to an interview?

From Communication β†’ Interview Calendar, click + Create Event and fill in the event details, adding the Google Meet link before you save. If a saved interview turns out to have no link, reopen the event and confirm one was attached β€” the link is part of the event, not something generated afterwards.

How do you revoke Google access?

Click Disconnect on the Google Meet/Calendar card. That revokes the connection, and you lose email and scheduling features for that account until it is reconnected. If the card shows as disconnected immediately after you thought you had authorized it, the usual cause is the OAuth window being closed early or access being denied β€” click Connect again and complete the Google sign-in all the way through.

How to set it up

  1. 1 In Settings β†’ Integrations, find the Google Meet/Calendar Integration card under Email and Calendars and click Connect.
  2. 2 Confirm in the dialog, then authorize access with your Google account.
  3. 3 On return, the card shows Connected along with your Gmail address.
  4. 4 In Communication β†’ Interview Calendar, create an event and add a Google Meet link while entering the event details.
