Reviews

What recruiters say when we are not in the room.

Reviews of Pitch N Hire live on G2, Capterra and Software Suggest, where the reviewer's role and company size are attached and you can read the criticism as well as the praise. This page tells you where to find them, how we handle them, and what to check that a review will never tell you.

4.8/5 G2 Verified reviews
4.7/5 Capterra Verified reviews

Ratings as published on each platform. We do not print a review count here, because the current one is a click away on the platform itself and always right β€” see the FAQ below for why that matters.

01 Read them at the source

Three independent platforms, and how to read each one.

Every review platform selects and weights differently, so the useful move is not to read more reviews β€” it is to read the right slice on each one. Here is what each is good for.

G2 Business-software reviews, verified by work email or LinkedIn.

Filter by company size and by your own segment before you read a single quote β€” a review from a 2,000-person enterprise tells you very little about a 12-recruiter agency.

Capterra Gartner-owned buyer directory, with Software Advice and GetApp alongside it.

Sort by lowest rating first. The one-star and three-star reviews are where you learn what a product cannot do, which is what a shortlist is for.

Software Suggest India-focused software directory, useful if you are buying for an India or Gulf team.

Look for reviewers whose statutory and payroll requirements match yours. Compliance fit is the thing western directories rarely surface.

02 How we handle reviews

Five rules we hold ourselves to.

Written down so you can hold us to them, and so you have a checklist to apply to every other vendor on your shortlist.

01 We do not edit review text Not for length, not for tone, not to remove the awkward sentence in the middle. A review that has been tidied up is marketing copy wearing a reviewer's name.
02 We publish the criticism with the praise Every real review has a 'what could be better' line. A page that shows only the good half is evidence of nothing except editing. If we quote a reviewer anywhere on this site, the reservation travels with the quote.
03 We link back to the source So you can read the rest, check the reviewer's segment, and see the reviews we did not choose. A quote you cannot trace is a quote you should not weigh.
04 We do not show a review count as a trophy Counts move, and a number in a screenshot goes stale the week it is taken. Read the current total on the platform itself β€” it is one click away and it is the only version that is true today.
05 We never buy, incentivise or gate a review No gift cards, no 'leave us five stars to unlock' prompts, no review requests sent only to the customers we know are happy.
03 What a review will not tell you

Six things to check for yourself.

A review tells you how a product felt to someone else's team, on someone else's roles, at someone else's seat count. These are the six questions that decide whether it will work for yours β€” and every one of them is answerable in an afternoon.

01 Does it fit the way you actually hire? Agency delivery, in-house pipelines and 4,000-applicant volume drives are three different products in practice. Read the reviews from your own shape of team first. See the ATS β†’ Fit
02 Does HR and payroll run on the same record? The most common complaint in ATS reviews anywhere is the handover: an offer accepted in one system and retyped into another. Check whether the offer becomes the employee record. See the HRMS β†’ Scope
03 Can the AI explain itself? If a score cannot cite the line in the CV or transcript it came from, you cannot defend the rejection it produced. Ask any vendor to show you that on a live candidate. Security and governance β†’ Governance
04 What is the price at your seat count? Per-user pricing and module upsells behave very differently at 6 recruiters and at 60. Model both before the demo, not after the quote. Pricing β†’ Cost
05 Does it join the tools you already pay for? Job boards, calendars, email, payroll and your HRIS. A missing connector becomes a person doing copy and paste, and that person is the real cost. Integrations β†’ Stack
06 How does it compare to the rest of your shortlist? Reviews tell you how a product feels to its own users. A comparison tells you what you give up by choosing it over the alternative you are also considering. Compare and alternatives β†’ Shortlist
04 Evidence beyond reviews

Four things stronger than a five-star quote.

Case studies

Three engagements written up in full β€” the problem, what changed, the rollout week by week, and the tooling that was dropped.

Customer stories

05 Questions

Reviews β€” frequently asked questions

Where can I read verified Pitch N Hire reviews?

On the independent platforms rather than on this page: G2, Capterra (with Software Advice and GetApp alongside it) and Software Suggest. Each one verifies reviewers and shows the reviewer's role and company size, so you can filter to teams that hire the way you do before you weigh a single quote.

Why does this page not show a review count?

Because a count printed on a marketing page goes stale the week it is taken, and it is one click away on the platform itself where it is always current. We would rather send you to the live number than publish a screenshot of an old one.

Do you edit or select the reviews you show?

We do not edit review text at all, and wherever we quote a reviewer on this site the 'what could be better' line travels with the quote. A page that shows only praise is marketing rather than evidence.

Do you pay for or incentivise reviews?

No. We do not offer gift cards or discounts for reviews, we do not gate content behind leaving one, and we do not send review requests only to customers we already know are happy.

Can I speak to an existing customer before buying?

Yes. Ask on your demo call and we will introduce you to a team that hires in a similar shape to yours β€” same segment, similar seat count, similar role families. Reference calls are arranged directly and we do not sit in on them.

What is the best way to evaluate an ATS beyond reviews?

Run your own requisition through it. Take the free tier or a demo, load one real open role, and check three things: whether the AI can cite the evidence behind a score, whether an accepted offer becomes an employee record without retyping, and what the price looks like at your actual seat count rather than the headline tier.

Reviews are other people's roles. Bring us yours.

Twenty minutes on the requisition that has been open longest, and you keep the shortlist whether or not you become one of these reviewers.
