Pitch N Hire + LinkedIn Integration
Yes. Pitch N Hire has a native LinkedIn integration: you connect your LinkedIn Company ID under Settings β Integrations β Job Portals, and your roles are then picked up by LinkedIn as Basic Jobs. Companies holding a Job Slot contract can also use LinkedIn's Job Wrapping to promote roles from the same feed.
LinkedIn is the most involved of Pitch N Hire's job portals, because half the setup happens on LinkedIn's side and several of the rules are LinkedIn's rather than ours. This page covers the connection, the timings to expect, and the policies that decide whether your jobs appear for free.
How does Pitch N Hire connect to LinkedIn?
By linking your LinkedIn Company ID to your Pitch N Hire account, so jobs can be posted to and managed from your LinkedIn page. You open the LinkedIn card in the Job Portals section of Settings β Integrations, enter the numeric Company ID and save. The Connect button stays disabled until an ID is entered, and once connected the card shows a Connected badge and the button reads Update LinkedIn.
Where do you find your LinkedIn Company ID?
On your LinkedIn Company Page, click the employee count β the '51-200 employees' style link. That opens a people search page, and the browser URL contains a currentCompany parameter with a number inside quotation marks. That number is your Company ID. It is numeric and usually six to nine digits long, and the connect dialog repeats these steps inline if you need them while you are there.
What are LinkedIn Basic Jobs, and how long do they take?
Basic Jobs, formerly Limited Listings, are picked up automatically from your Pitch N Hire job board once the integration is connected, and are visible to candidates searching on LinkedIn or viewing your company page. Expect a wait: it can take up to two business days for roles to be posted as Basic Jobs, and around 24 hours for LinkedIn to reflect updated feed changes. Neither delay indicates a broken connection.
What does LinkedIn's Connect ATS step do?
It tells LinkedIn which ATS is supplying your feed. From the end of March 2026, a company page admin creating a new page or posting a basic job for the first time must go to Settings β Job Postings on the LinkedIn company page, switch on Enable basic job posting, click + Connect ATS and select Pitch N Hire. If Pitch N Hire is not in that dropdown, the connection has not synced yet β complete it in Pitch N Hire first and allow roughly 24 hours. Companies that already posted basic jobs through another ATS do not need to re-enable the toggle, only to ensure Pitch N Hire is selected.
What is Job Wrapping?
A LinkedIn service that ingests jobs in bulk from your career site or ATS, uploads them as Basic Jobs, and then promotes the ones meeting your criteria into a Job Slot β where they get greater reach, additional promotion and on-demand reporting. Setup runs through LinkedIn Recruiter, where you add Pitch N Hire as a job source, and in Pitch N Hire you enable the Use Job Wrapping option to generate the feed URL to paste into LinkedIn.
Why do staffing companies have to promote their jobs?
Because LinkedIn requires it. Organizations that help other companies recruit must promote their postings, so free job posts are not available to them and Basic Jobs via Job Wrapping will not appear β roles must be promoted into Job Slots to show. This applies across LinkedIn.com, Recruiter Lite and Recruiter, and to third-party sources including your ATS. These policies are set and enforced by LinkedIn, not Pitch N Hire: we supply the job feed, and your LinkedIn account type and contract decide how a role appears. A company that believes it was miscategorised should ask LinkedIn support to review it.
How to set it up
- In Pitch N Hire, go to Settings β Integrations and scroll to Job Portals. You need permission to manage company settings to see the section.
- On the LinkedIn card, click Connect LinkedIn, enter your numeric Company ID β usually six to nine digits β and click Connect LinkedIn to save.
- On LinkedIn, a company page admin opens Settings β Job Postings, switches on Enable basic job posting, clicks + Connect ATS and selects Pitch N Hire.
- Allow up to two business days for roles to appear as Basic Jobs, and around 24 hours for LinkedIn to reflect feed changes, before troubleshooting.
