Does Pitch N Hire work with Google Workspace?
Yes, as your company's identity rather than as an individual's login. A Workspace account on your verified company domain authorises access, so the people who can reach your Pitch N Hire workspace are the people your organisation has already issued a work account to. Nobody needs to invent, share or rotate a second password, and there is no separate list of who is allowed in that someone has to remember to maintain alongside the directory.
Why should staff sign in with a company account instead of a password?
Because the company keeps the lever. A work account is issued, changed and closed by whoever administers your Google environment, and Pitch N Hire trusts that account rather than storing a credential your team chose themselves. That matters most in the situations nobody plans for — a contractor whose engagement ends early, a laptop that goes missing, an agency coordinator who moves to a different client. One action in the place IT already works covers all of them.
What happens to someone's access when they leave the company?
The sign-in route goes with the Workspace account. Once that account is suspended or closed, the person can no longer use it to reach Pitch N Hire. Treat that as the first step rather than the whole job: their user record still exists in your workspace, so review it, hand over any requisitions or candidate conversations they owned, and remove or downgrade the account. Offboarding is a directory action and a workspace action, not one action.
Which Google account should authorise the connection?
One the company will still hold when people change. If an individual recruiter authorises it with their own Workspace account and later moves on, the authorisation moves with them and someone has to reconnect. A shared or role-based account that operations owns avoids that. It is a small decision at setup and an annoying one to unpick afterwards, so make it deliberately rather than letting whoever happened to be signed in that afternoon decide it.
What does an IT admin actually keep control of here?
The identity itself, the domain it is restricted to, and the ability to end it. All three stay inside your Google environment, which is the point of connecting at the organisation level rather than person by person: you are not asked to duplicate your staff list in a recruiting tool and then keep the copy accurate. The same connected account can then enable candidate email and interview scheduling, each configured separately.
