An accepted offer is not a start date. Enter the notice period from the candidate's contract, any buyout, and the handover and relocation days either side of it, and this works out when they will realistically join and what that gap costs you. Every figure comes from your own inputs, and the arithmetic is shown.
Everything below comes from your offer and your contract. Nothing is assumed or filled in from a benchmark, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

What this deliberately does not tell you
It will not say whether your gap is good or bad. Notice periods vary enormously by country, seniority and contract, and the drop-out rates circulated for the offer-to-join window trace back to unsourced secondary citations — so a benchmark here would mislead more than it helps. Compare this number against your own previous hires instead, and treat the gap as the window you have to keep the person engaged rather than as a score.
The offer-to-join window is where counter-offers do their damage, and a pipeline that ends at 'offer accepted' cannot see it. See how Pitch N Hire keeps accepted candidates, backups and the whole requisition visible until day one.
Most hiring processes are built to end at "offer accepted". In markets where notice periods run to two or three months, that is the point at which the risk actually begins. The candidate goes back to their current employer to resign, and the counter-offer conversation happens in a room you are not in. Meanwhile any process they started elsewhere is still running.
Knowing the length of that window is what makes it manageable. It tells you how long you need to stay in contact, when to schedule check-ins, and — the part teams most often skip — how long to keep a backup candidate warm rather than closing the requisition the moment an offer is signed.
The cost figure is there for the same reason. A vacancy that stays open for the length of a notice period is rarely free, and being able to state what it costs — from your own numbers, not a published multiple — is what turns "we should hire faster" into a budget conversation someone can act on.
Pitch N Hire is an applicant tracking system with recruitment analytics. Time to hire, pipeline conversion, and source performance come from your own hiring data rather than a manual estimate.
