It serves as financial proof that you are capable of covering your expenses while residing in Germany. If you don’t have this amount, you will not be eligible for pursuing any course in Germany. You will also not be granted a German student visa. Therefore, you must start saving money beforehand. You will have to deposit this money in a German blocked bank account. So, start saving for money before you submit your application. At the same time, look for scholarships and student loans so that you have an alternative option.

Find accommodation and get enrolled at the university

Once every legal work, paperwork is done and you become an official student in Germany, your focus should now be shifted to finding a proper place to stay in. Start finding accommodation in Germany two to three weeks before you went there. Take help from online websites that offer information about places, cost and everything related to it. This will help you in finding accommodation at the earliest after reaching there.

Next, you should complete your final process towards becoming an official student at your university and get enrolled in the course of your choice at your university. For getting enrolled, you will need to submit certain documents such as a passport, a passport photo, visa or residence permit, signed and completed application form, degree qualifications, the letter of admission, proof of health insurance in Germany and receipt of the fee payment.
